Family Moves From A One Bedroom Manassas Condo To A Big Home With No Money Down

They Kept The Condo Because It Rents For More Than The House Payment

Buyer Is A Veteran, Entitled To VA No Money Down Home Loan

Julia chose us to help her get a one bedroom condo three years ago because the house payments were cheaper than rent.

Julia and Bobby met, fell in love, married, then moved into the condo.

Bobby's bachelor furniture was sold because there was no room for it, and his stuff was in boxes that lined the walls.

Next, little baby Caroline was born.

So Julia's condo was stuffed with her stuff, Bobby's stuff, and baby stuff.  They could been mistaken for hoarders with all that stuff in a 950 square foot apartment.

So they came back to us for help finding a large townhome, where all their stuff would fit, and baby Caroline could have her own room.

Their dream of getting a home quickly became their nightmare because they found homes, bid high, and still lost those homes to other bidders, until home number 5.

It is a lovely home, on a quiet street, with trees and forest land behind the home, and a big deck where they could enjoy the sound of soft summer breezes rustling the leaves.

They offered $15,000 over the list price, and asked for $6,000 from the seller to pay their closing costs on house number 5.  They were the winning bidders.

The home was just renovated, with new kitchen cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite, new carpet, fresh paint, a fully-finished family room in the lower level with a home office.

They said they were glad they lost the bids on the other 4 houses, because home number 5 was bigger and better than all the rest.

When you find someone who wants a home, but doesn't think they have enough money to buy, give them this story.

You could be their hero for turning them over to us for help getting a lovely home.

Vicky, thanks for noticing.

I've sent out post cards for years, sharing success stories, and they usually generate a referral or two.

So I got to thinkin'... my blog is an ideal venue for sharing stories about real people who come to us for help, and how we helped them.

Joe Stumpf calls 'em Evidence Of Success (EOS) stories.  Stories help folks find themselves.

I'm gonna stick with EOS on my blog for a while.

Check back.

If you post any EOS on your blog, please send me the link.
