Under the new health care bill - did you know that all real estate transactions are now subject to a 3.8% Federal Sales Tax?
The bulk of these new taxes don't kick in until 2013 (presumably after Obamas re-election).
You can thank Nancy, Harry and Barack and your local Democrat Congressman for this one.
If you sell your $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax. This bill is set to screw the retiring generation who often downsize their homes. Is this Hope & Change great or what?
WHAT DOES THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY HAVE TO DO WITH THE MANAGEMENT OF HEALTH IN THIS COUNTRY ???
THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!

Amazing!
Hopefully when Obama isn't re-elected they can reverse all of his changes and fix things!
To the best of my knowledge this is not true and has been shown to be so on various network programs.

This post is inaccurate, to say the least. Check out Matt Stigliano's post for the facts.
Thanks for the back-up Bob...I've received emails about this also and when I reply they don't believe me.
I recently read an insightful article about Snopes founders liberal backgrounds and blatant liberal bias they apply when judging which stories get approved or denied.
The reporter noted that Snopes has sided with Obama's denials of things he said, despite video of him saying so on You Tube and network TV.
Therefore, Snopes is not a credible resource for vetting ANY story.

Interesting Erick...Especially when right wing folks credit snopes with something that fits their bias...Your argument doesn't hold water...Snopes is widely regarded from media standpoints as accurate.
Ernie, thank you for your comment. You are right. When the evidence is abundantly clear that a right-wing story is true, Snopes reports it as such.
